Fun facts : This song was written by Beethoven for one of his student that he fell in love with. He wrote this song easy at first because he knew that the girl was not very good at piano, and he wanted to teach her this song. But after he heard of the girl's engagement, he was heart broken, so he wrote the finishing song much harder so that she can't play it anymore.

this music was written in 1810, we are 2022, more than 200 years after beethoven wrote this people still love this piece to the point that pretty much every pianist want to play it ... if that is not a representation of what a master piece is i don't know what is

As a pianist with 9 years of experience the first part is very easy and i do recommend learning that part if you are a beginner! which is also why most teachers for piano teach you the first part when you are beginner

My family loves this song, especially my daughter and my grandson. My grandson is learning to play this song, and he is doing great. He wants to play Für Elise for his mother like she did for me. 2:52

Did you know that this piece was called "For Terese"? After Bethoven died his notes with different songs were everywere! (After he died his family took his stuff; Sofas, chairs etc.) And by accident somewone spilled something on his notes "for Terese" and all that was left was: ESE (the substance covered Ter and in Germany the closest name was ELIESE (ELIZA) or Terese!!(They did not know he knew a woman named Terese thats why they had no idea) But the "for" was not covered in liquid thats why its called "For Elise"
