I personaly adore Beethoven and every time I listen to this piece I get really deep into Beethoven's problems. It's such a HUGE same that this GREAT composer died so young and if I could meet him in real life I would tell him that I understand all his problems and I would be SUPER happy if I could help him. I also know that he said ''To play a wrong note is insignificant, to play without passion is inexcusable''. Almost every time I listen to this wunderful masterpiece, it drieves me to the 19th century.

When Beethoven passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetery and heard some strange noises coming from the area Beethoven was buried. Terrified, the drunk ran and got the priest to come listen to it. The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognizedable music coming from the grave. Frightened the priest ran and got the town magistrate.

When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment and said “Ah yes, that’s Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony being played backwards.”

He listened for a little while longer, and said “There’s the Eighth Symphony being played backwards, too. Most puzzling.” So the magistrates keeps listening “Theirs the Seventh, Sixth, Fifth.”

Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned on the magistrate; he stood up and announced to the crowd that has gathered at the cemetery “My fellow citizens, there is nothing to worry about. It’s just Beethoven decomposing.”
