I have no idea why so many others hate on this watch. It's baller.

Have owned the Ranger for about 6 months now and still very happy with it. The adjustable T-Fit is fantastic now during summer when my wrist expands a little. I don’t see it as a cheap Explorer alternative either; 36mm (when I bought the Ranger; now also in 40mm) was too small for me, and the beauty of the Ranger is that it flies under the radar, intentionally. If you’re not fishing for attention with your watch, but still want a high quality everyday watch on your wrist, have a closer look.

Have one, love it...really. Had a 214270 and have a 114270...personally, I prefer the Ranger...not just because of the very practical clasp, but because it just looks gorgeous in reality, on wrist.

This video makes the Ranger look so good that I'm now going to keep mine.

Seems like much more of a true tool watch than the Explorer, which like most Rolex these days is a piece of expensive jewelry with that polished bezel.

Great review and videography. Have a BB36, and the new movement makes me consider switching

When I saw the Ranger for the first time, I had rather negative emotions. After I tried them at AD, I changed my mind by 180

if it were only a tiny bit smaller it'd be my one true watch, it's just a little too big and heavy. Very sharp and cool in-person though!

great bracelet except the clasp’s edge very sharp

Part of me wants to pull the trigger on one now. Part of me wants to wait a while and see what changes Tudor might make to it in the coming years.

I hope they stick with it. It’s a solid, definitively non-Black Bay piece that deserves some time.

I almost bought this as something else to calm my explorer lust

If this watch had stark white applied indices Instead of a funky green and a printed dial, I think a lot more people would be into it.

YouTube haters of this watch unfortunately are getting a disproportionately loud of a voice against this watch. Nothing drives me more crazy then the ubiquitous comparison to the Explorer I. Clearly missing the point. Tudor was revisiting the Ranger not the Explorer…if they made it look any more like the Explorer it would just be a homage, and if any of them want a watch that looks exactly like an explorer they can buy a watch that looks exactly like it…it’s made by Rolex and coincidentally it’s called the Explorer.
