A walk-through the review problems for the algebra 2 midterm exam.

In high school, I was a student that went home each day and did the required homework. I didn't study beyond this, but this further cemented what we had learned in class. I continued this pattern in college because I understood the benefits of practicing the concepts and showing why I knew something. I would not have done as well just by just sitting in class and observing. Being an active participant in class though can help tremendously as well, but you need to put in time individually.

@RossB97 You're welcome. About the b^2 - 4ac. It's called the discriminant (D) and it's a part of the quadratic formula -b/2a +/- root(b^2-4ac)/2a. The biggest thing to realize is that it's under a root and after the plus/minus. 3 possibilities: D can be positive (meaning +/- root of positive giving 2 answers), D can be 0 (meaning +/- root 0 or nothing being added and subtracted and leaving 1 answer), or D can be negative (meaning +/- root of negative giving 2 imaginary (0 real).

Hey man, I got a question. Does math come easily to you, like for instance do you just retain all the information you receive during class or do u go home and study furthermore? And i know this might sound dumb, but if were not to do your homework would u still grasp the topic your learning just from being in class or will you have difficulties learning the material because of not doing your hw?
