The wireless charging omission is not bad at all I think for this particular feature omission it is an excellent marketing strategy for phone companies. But this exception is just for the wireless charging omission. In this way OnePlus can add wireless charging in the next foldable release for next year to lure customers to buy their products. The 67 watts wired fast charging is super convenient and is sufficient for this release. And this marketing strategy can be done for the time being. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾. The wireless charging feature is the only component that can be exempted from criticism and is eligible for market manipulation without affecting sales (on a serious note). 💯💪🏾👍🏾

Not sold on foldable yet. Maybe if the price premium over a slab flagship was less and they were less bulky, I may get one even if I'd rarely use the inner display but at the current prices it makes no sense for me.

In fact, this is not a rebranding of the Oppo Find N3. To that point, what this really is is a legitimate collaboration between Oppo and Oneplus. Considering the fact that both companies are under the umbrella of the same parent company why not pull their resources? Furthermore, the Open and N3 both debuted on the same day so it's a little difficult to say that the Open is just a rebrand of the N3.
Frankly, I really don't care about wireless charging. Especially, when you can have 67 watt super vooc charging that is much faster and far more efficient. Strictly speaking, I'm happy to see that OnePlus is pursuing their own proprietary charging technology rather than giving in to the gimmicky wireless charging trend.

What urks my soul about bloggers and media about this phone compared to the Z fold...umm...WE DO REMEMBER THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE OUTSIDE SCREEN ISN'T TO GIVE YOU A BIG SCREEN.
