After reading the written review on GSMArena yesterday, the Open feels almost like the only foldable that can actually compete with regular candy bar flagships. Definitely worth considering as my upgrade from my old S10+.

Another thing to note os that it has Li-Po battery instead of Li-Ion. In my experience the Li-Po has alot longer life line.

I've seen reviewers complain that the camera doesn't take vivid enough colors in photos, but I prefer a camera give me the most real life color accurate photos it can. If I need to punch up colors and stuff, I can edit it later.

Android phone is my preference, so I upgraded my galaxy z-fold to this phone just because I wanted to be different owning a cellphone other than samsung. I didn't regret owning a oneplus open. ❤❤❤

I wonder how the Open's stacked sensor main camera stack up compared to all the 1-inch sensor phones, are stacked sensors an actually useful technology for future camera sensors?

Just got this for about 780. Third fold and wanted to see if it was worth it i can say yes. Samsung software is more my flavor but the vivo fold i have is cn version so the issues with software doesnt help it. Ill get the google fold soon. Love tech and this tech to me is still awesome. It's called depth of view as far as that is concerned.

$1500 plus tax, shipping, and any extras is near $2000. They have the red cable club discounts, trade in discounts, employee discount, and student discount. But the phone is still pricey considering that is not oneplus 12. This isn't even a pro version yet even though it is a good phone and I've been waiting since the 9 for a good phone.

I took the plunge and pre-ordered the Open. Expensive. I have wanted a flip for many many years and haven't seen a model that made me pull the trigger. This phone shows so much potential that i caved in for the extra $$. The only videos for the past 3 days are mostly about the Open, and your video finally took away some biased doubts. The peak brightness while in adaptive mode can achieve around 2600 nits brightness not 700 like you mentioned...

Unfortunately 3 years after having the OnePlus Fold, the colour of panels have changed, one is grey and one black and the dividing line shows and can't get it repaired.
