Looking at the Samsung fold and the OnePlus, as much as i like my S22ultra and all the things it does well. I like the screen format and sizing of the OnePlus so much better I’d drop a dime on it. As it is more usable in the closed position, which tbh is how most would use the phone 70% of the time. The option to have a larger screen when needed is an attractive option. My only worry is durability of all the folding phone, but it looks like OnePlus is addressing that with the tighter fit of the screen when folded.

I've had Oneplus phones for almost 8 years now and I almost pulled the trigger on getting a new Fold 5, as I wanted to get into the foldable phone experience. I then found out that Oneplus was creating their first ever foldable phone and leaks were positive about it. I'm glad I waited, even though they delayed the release date from August to October. I'm definently getting a Oneplus open after watching the full reviews against the Fold 5

To this day I miss the front facing stereo speakers that were on my Nexus 6p. Was the only compromise when I switched to a OnePlus 6 like 5.5 years ago. Still rocking it today.
