Corinthian helmet is the most iconic.

The classic Roman Gallic or Mainz is still the best close melee helmet ever designed. Everything about it is purpose built to deflect downward blows coming over the scutum. From the dome, the energy is shed to thewide neck flange or off the ear flanges, to the doublets on the shoulders. Blows scraping down the front are deflected by the large brow guard, while the open front allows maximum visibility and the open ears allows maximum hearing for the disciplined commands of centurions. Brilliant.

I'm going to have to disagree with a part of number 10. The Dendra chariot warriors armor was a full suit of plates that went to the knees. It was finished with a Boars Tusk helmet.
The owner could afford the armor, weapons and chariot. He could afford a helmet of bronze.
Boars Tusk helmets may have been as much of a status symbol, as protection.

I don’t need a helmet, because I have no brain in my head to protect

The montefortino helmet was not Celtic It was made by the Etruscans that took inspiration from a simple cap and added cheek guards to it ( in italian we call the form of the cheek guards paragnatidi falciformi but there were different tipes of cheek guards like the coarelli style )

Such a list cannot be serious if the Corinthian helmet is not in the first place. It provided maximum face and neck protection with a full 180° clear view.
There are models that have open sides for the ears for better hearing also.
The only problem was that these helmets were very expensive. When the Greek city-states became impoverished during the Peloponnesian Wars, they started using new types of helmets that required less bronze - and were therefore much cheaper. For example, Athens is the attic type that sacrificed face protection for less bronze (not for hearing and sight, because a piece of bronze on the nose doesn't spoil those), while Sparta - which was never one of the wealthiest city-states - used the simplest (and cheapest) helmet ever, the pilos.

I think ancient soldiers would enjoy wearing modern helmets, or even the ones used in WWII.

Thumbs up. But why no mention of the Mongol helmet? The Mongols conquered half the world.

Strange that the beotische helmet scores so high, it has no face protection at all, besides that, the armet helmet was way better then the catle helmet, which has no face protection at all, only protection for blows from above, the English Brody helmet proved itself to be the worst helmet in wo 1 and 2
