When I was in college, I used a book entitled "A First Course in Discrete Mathematics" by Ian Anderson and Daniel Velleman's "How To Prove It."

I really want to learn discrete math. But I suck at solving or reading any math books. They have too much theory. Problems without solutions. Too many mathematical terms(Well it is a math book after all). If I remember in one of your book reviews you said that you were able to solve the "problem solving with C" book before college and it did not require any pre-requisites. Is there an equivalent to discrete math?
My motivation for learning discrete math is to understand Introduction to algorithms by CLRS. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful.

I didn't like the paper, it could be a little bit thicker, and the font could be a size bigger
