What is happening in Haiti, where political crisis persists?

Haiti is in the throes of a political crisis.
Opposition leaders are disputing the mandate of President Jovenel Moise, whose term most legal experts and civil society groups have said ended on February 7. But the president and his supporters say his five-year term only expires in 2022.
Protesters angered over the president’s refusal to leave office met a crackdown in Port-au-Prince, the capital. Journalists have been injured while covering the rallies. Anger and frustration have continued to boil over into the streets.

Al Jazeera’s Gabriel Elizondo reports.

Haitians are the biggest landowners in the world, Haiti has paid over a billion dollar to the french for its freedom and the land our forefathers fought for, so that the Haitian people can live free. Who else can say that they have paid for the country they live in. Any person or group who tries to take it away from them, watch-out, something worse will befall you. Haiti only needs help to reorganize its government, rebuild its army that was disbanded, its rice fields that have gone dry due to foreign imports imposed on the country and never-ending sabotaging by outside forces to keep the country in poverty. Those who are helping keep HAITI down, know who they are, Haitians or otherwise, they will be punished by divine intervention. ....

Everyone having their own comments and opinion all i can say as a Duvalierist my generation was a better Haiti and more better Haitians...now you have a nations filled with wickedness in their heart eating humans parts after they done killing them and decapitated them..Some Haitians are not human beings but evil beings roaming around and I pray that God judgment falls soon onto that land...and maybe then they can stop their wicked ways...Only God can end the turmoil in Haiti and for more than 35 years Haiti has been under a curse....they should have kept Duvalier period....tho He was like the Haitian Hilter at least there wasn't that much blood shed and caos we had a peaceful country and the poor where able to eat.
