I love how this, their first battle, parallels their last, with Grievous leaping down and saying "Hello there" to Obi-wan.

This establishes why Grievous doesn't just have his army shoot Kenobi in ROTS. He's seen him in this situation before and knows he can get out of it. He gives his Magnaguards a shot, though, because he has some faith in them, as opposed to the battle droids who he has realized are garbage.

1:27 Those B1 battledroids can really jump good! Even if 2 missed, and the one that landed got crushed by the transport train, the very fact they were able to pull off such a long distance jump to begin with is quite impressive if you think about it. Give those droids better programming, and they have the makings of being quite impressive machines.
