Actually those are likely to be unguided rockets instead of missiles so the Clone pilot couldn't lock onto them.

Even though I know they are described as AAMs in the incredible cross sections book, it would make more sense for them to be just unguided rockets as they look way more similar to their real world counterparts. As we know, most Star Wars vehicles are inspired by existing technologies so I believe that was also the original idea behind these rockets.

Or since the camminowans worked for dooko at that time point, they could of made some kind of safety thing in them preventing them from killing dooko. I know that sounds a bit crazy but think 🤔 💭 🧐 of it, they were able to put chips in them that would make them turn on their Jedi generals/friends which none of the clones could fight through
