Ermm Mistake me if im wrong but if you see Example 3 you said 6- (-25) isnt that Positive 31 instead of negative and isnt 59-85 the one that is supposed to be the minus 31 ?

Not a mistake. I took eqns 1 from eqns 2. I did -25-6 whereas you did other way around. Either way is correct.

In example 2. You gave the answer as x=20 y=10. The question is how much is a pencil? Would your answer be ok, or would i need to state the cost of the pencil as 10p (not forgetting the currency).

for example 2 it says how much is a pencil but you actually worked out the entire simultaneous equation where you already had how much a pencil costs in the first part of the simultaneous equation which was 0.10p .Then why did you work out the entire simultaneous equation, i dont understand.

on example 3 on the sum 18-26. the 6 looks like a b so i got stuck but now i know that its a six.

Mistake on example 3 : -56 times 5 is equal to -280 but you put 25b !!!
