I show exactly how much money MegaBots made from millions of views on YouTube from building giant robots. It's not clickbait. I also give some tips on how to make more money from a YouTube channel.

Hi Everyone. I'm going to make a few videos about what happened at MegaBots, then I need to figure out what to do with this channel. Feel free to throw some ideas below. Considering a limited budget. Also, I still have some boxes of merch if you want to grab it before it's gone! (this will help with the budget thing!)

To be totally honest, I look far more forward to hearing financials and how the company was run than watching Eagle Prime smashing washing machines.

I'm loving the post-bankruptcy, no-shits-given attitude with how open your being about everything. Thank you for that.

I'm fascinated to hear about what happened behind-the-scenes, so I'm excited for this potential video series! I hit the bell.

"...sounds like probably the worst place in the world one could look for that, but that's where we're at right now"

It be like that sometimes ;-)

I would like to see a video on "economy of scales" in Mechs.
like, "what magnitude would cost to make it faster" or "how much could be saved if it was smaller"
Also, you still have some of the IP right? because I would like to see what other ideas was thrown around before it was settle on eagle prime.

WAIT, there was a live giant robot fight? I loved the duel btw, I wish youtube was better at showing stuff.

What if some people started a “mini robot fighting league” instead of a “giant robot fighting league”?

Then bootstrap up to gradually larger robots as time goes on, funded by smaller robots

Love everything you are doing. Have you thought about adding a link in the fight video description or a pinned comment to get people to the other video you mentioned? Also I am a therapist if you ever needed one. Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing where this all goes in the future.

Been watching since the beginning! Best advice I could give is to try and collaborate with other youtubers, build hype across multiple channels. <3

I'll keep following this channel because I'm sure whatever you end up doing, the mad engineer that built a giant mech is gonna do something cool xD
This vids interesting though. Youtubes really opaque so it can be really hard to gauge how much money channels actually make

Finally a video that immediately gets into the facts and statistics!

We really hope you succeed!

I did FIRST FRC and some FTC, and from a rules and format standpoint I've had some ideas on how to make the idea more viable as a robot sport. Things like weight classes, safety requirements for cockpits(standardized for safety while allowing for other teams to solve issues on their own), and standardized ports for weapons, suggestions for exciting combat destruction with minimal impact on the actual mechanics. Not just big idea stuff either, as an ME and a Yuuuge mecha fan I've got some fairly detailed ideas. (all with the rather strict limitations of physics, money, and international arms laws in mind). Though I bet some or all of these may not be new, I'd really like to help. I really love what you guys have done.
Honestly one of the most heartwrenching moments for me was seeing the Japanese mech unveiled and realizing that they had designed theirs for a totally different weight class than yours.
If you'd like to go back and forth more on specifics I'd be glad to or send you a write up if you'd like.

It's interesting hearing how you began to figure things out over time. I had no idea that CPM varied so much between videos, or that there's no real way to determine why the CPM for one video was higher than another.

I watched along through the entire process. I was really rooting for you guys, i liked the idea. The logistics of the endeavor always interested me almost more than the robots themselves, its cool to see you talking about some aspects.

I've loved this from the beginning. prototype or not all the bots performed well and the battles were epic!
