the way Captain Jack's all smiles and cheesiness in front of Graham (who he thinks is the Doctor) but as soon as Graham can't see his face when he hugs him, Jack looks a combination of relieved and almost sad? Just proves what an interesting character he is, using the "Captain Cheesecake" front to hide what he's really feeling.

What a great scene. Jack is such an epic character and I love that he’s back. He interacts the characters in such a hilarious way and he at least redeems season 12 in some way or another.

Ironically, this has been the only episode of Dr. Who I've seen when it comes to 13 (I've seen almost every other episode since its revival in 2005). I was just bored one Saturday night and decided the watch Dr. Who and it turned out to be this episode, and I just smiled when Captain Jack returned. Hopefully he is in the next series.

I got so over the top excited. Watched a lot of reaction channels for this. Props to Chibnall and the whole production team for keeping this secret so well.
I just wish, I could have shown this to my mom, who was a huge Captain Jack fan. Unfortunately she died roughly 6 weeks before this episode aired....

It was always something that broke my heart. Is it at the end of the day Jack would’ve been the perfect companion for the doctor. Someone who would never leave. Call it biology Call it nature it just sucks immortals and time lords can’t interact long term.
