I love how literally everyone is flaunting Jack’s return while Ruth is just sitting there like, “Well, I’m the Doctor!”
And the fans going, “yeah, yeah, but CAPTAIN JACK IS BACK!”

Edit: To everyone that is bashing a new idea: kindly stuff it. I was shocked when Ruth was revealed to be the Doctor and although Chibnall is treading on thin ice with continuity potentially bringing in pre-Hartnell doctors, I personally think the reason Jacks return is so much more memorable is because they didn’t have to bring him back, and literally everyone loves Jack, so if you’re looking for a place to bash Chibnall or this season or Ruth’s character, look somewhere else
