This is overkill for me as a non builder but I must say this is one fancy tape measure that I’d love to add to my tools collection

I’m 45 and I have a small construction / remodeling business….. this looks like a perfect solution for the younger generation of men who can’t seem to grasp the concept of how to read an actual tape measure. And for all the ladies!!!

I love my T1 but I have one complaint that seems like a serious oversight. It’s no secret that the battery life isn’t great. Unless you charge this thing daily, it will almost certainly be dead when you go to use it, even with the auto-off stuff. How was there no “off” switch included? So many functions and you left out the most basic. I find myself taking out the battery when I’m done using it because it goes dead so often and I do t have an extra. It’s cool that you can slide back the battery cover to charge, but it would be even better if the battery cover could stay in place and let the battery disconnect. As it is, I have to completely separate the tape measure and the battery just to preserve the battery life. Food for thought on version 2. Otherwise, a well thought out tool.

Be careful buying anything from this company, they don't stand behind their products, they have no problem charging $259 for a measuring tape and yet when the tape breaks off on first use while measuring 23', they try and blame it on the consumer as damaging the unit.

That packaging isn't very secure dude. For hundreds of dollars per tool you should really have a locking flap and not just glue. That glue Will come loose in those hot trucks during shipping. Please fix this Now before it goes mainstream.
