Best security for a bike parked in your shed or right outside your home is a baby monitor, you can hear the thieves before they even get the cover off. Best $20 you'll ever spend.

Twin brothers exhaust is the best anti theft.

Great tips. Especially putting a cover over the bike. So simple and i've never thought of it! It will 'hide' all the expensive parts on my bike that make it steal worthy to begin with.

The "Oxford Boss" alarm disk lock shown at 1:43 doesn't rust up too bad. I had a wrecked bike parked outside for almost 9 years with one of those around the front disk, still unlocked just fine when I took it off last week, a small amount of corrosion internally made the battery carrier slightly stiff to remove but mainly it's just lost the stickers off the outside and faded slightly in the sunlight.

Ive got two chains, locking the bike to the environment, disc lock, brake lever lock, remote immobilizer and GPS tracker+bike tent. Imo the minimum for the UK...

The problem with most locks is that it takes about the same time to pick them as it takes to unlock with a key. Lock manufacturers need to figure at a better way to lock their locks. I had a bike stolen once. They picked it up and put it on a trolley. No lock picking needed. Most modern thieves have lined their truck/van with anti signal membrane. The moment they lock the door, there are no more GPS signal, Wi-Fi or cell service. Same goes for bicycles. It's sad, but if someone knows you have an expensive bike and want it, it's gone. 😢 Your absolute best theft protection is to anchor the bike. If you have an expensive bike, you should get a anchor point (typically a long steel rod buried several feet deep with a U shape over the ground). Get a Massive chain or lock with the highest level of pick resistance and attach the bikes frame, Not wheel to it. That way, thieves need to use heavy tools to break it and will attract a lot of attention. I usted to have a lock with an alarm. That works well along with great pick resistance when used to anchor the bike.

Lock, chain, cover. Get an alarmed disc lock but don’t cheap out you get what you pay for with motorcycle security, get a bolt cropper proof chain and anchor it to the floor so your bike can’t be lifted up and put in a van, finally get a water proof cover that covers all of the bike preferably get one that hugs the bike tight.

#6: dont flaunt your expensive bike on social media so much, dont tell where you mostly ride and hangout.

I use an alarm system, GPS locator, rotor lock and front fork lock. My bike is never far from me. I conceal bear mace, knife, tazor and a pistol. Good luck. 😂

Pro tip: after locking your steer set it to the center stand and shift it into gear because it locks the rear tires
Edit: I also forgot put a clutch lock

I can personally recommend the Monimoto GPS tracker. The battery lasts for about 1 year, and it only requires that you top up its SIM card every year. (for ~15€ here in Germany).

Click out of one, click out of two, three is binding, nothing on four.

I would totally install eletronic warfare countermeasures from BAE systems. While I am at it, I'll also install the shtora-1 electro-optical passive countermeasure system against guided anti tank missles too.

Great video man, i would suggest lookg at fortnine's video on it, it was excellent. He came to the conclusion that a heavy chain was the most effective, as the individual would literally have to sit outside with a blade saw cutting away at it for a long time to get anywhere with the bike. Sparks flying and everything.

Good to see you back homie, btw, got that cbr 1000 your buddy had in an old video after seeing it on your channel. I got the 600 because of you too. And got a vfr 800 for my dad after seeing your channel, it is dope, it is a 25th anniversary edition with the tricolor scheme

The cheap alarm works. It is not water proof though so be careful.

Try using a Tile for a cheap non subscription tracker. Cheap and works well.

Ha, I have exactly the same orange Kryptonite lock! Bent a brake disc when I pulled off without removing it last summer... Lock is still doing fine lol.
