Another quick tip, if you're using cheap instant coffee or just a bitter coffee in general - add a pinch of salt. Salt overpowers the bitter taste receptors in your tongue and actually masks bitterness better than sugar does. This also works if you over extract your coffee.

That adding cold water first to instant coffee before hot water is such a game changer for me. It went from a god awful cup every morning, to a not bad cup of coffee. I can actually taste something else than bitter

Those frozen capsules look exactly like the abomination that I created at middle school by brewing copious amount of ground cofee in energy drink and throwing in a shitton of sugar trying to create a solid energy candy.

It did work in terms of helping me wake up/boosting my brain before exams, BUT it got soft and really sticky within a couple of hours after you take them out of the freezer, so I had to wrap each single candy with tinfoil and then take it off for several minutes totally messing my fingers, so I ditched the project fairly quickly and decided that fixing my sleep schedule would be easier

People, including me, have definitely given you some ribbing for the outlandish ways in which coffee nerds brew their Joe. But in honesty you're never pretentious about it, never pushing any product down our throats, not gate keeping they experience.
You just provide aesthetic, entertaining videos, at least from what I've seen from your shorts.
I honestly had no idea some of these brewing methods existed, and while they're a bit too much for me I definitely appreciate their uniqueness.

Another pro-tip, if your instant coffee tastes like cigarettes like the store brand i bought once and never again, try adding a tiny pinch of salt or a few drops of saline solution. If you add just the right amount, you won't taste the salt but it'll almost magically remove the bitter burned acrid flavor from cheap instant.

Beginner tip. If you use milk or creamer… add it first. Then swirl it a bit to dissolve the coffee then add your hot water. The falling water creates convection currents that stir everything for you. And I noticed my coffees tasted better since doing this. Never thought it was because the water was essentially burning the coffee

I've tried some amazing coffee from all over the world and my brother owned a coffee snob café... but the best coffee I ever had was 'hand imported' by my friend's mother.
This coffee was what my friend missed most about his home in Tanzania, so once a year his mum would stock a suitcase and bring him his fix. For my birthday one year, both of us being poor students, he had no money to buy me a present so he gave me a tin of this coffee. I didn't have high hopes, it was a fairly standard own brand looking packaging instant coffee. My mind was blown.
I've lost contact with that friend, sadly. I wish I could remember the name of the coffee, maybe I could find a way to get some.

The Cometeer stuff is definitely the best although I haven't tried Onyx's instant coffee yet. They're one of my favorite roasters so I'll bet it's pretty good.
