Welcome to the fifteenth episode of The Sci Guys. In this episode we will be investigating an experiment involving the creation of diet coke geysers by putting mint mentos into a 2L bottle of diet coke. We will show you how you can explore this topic at home with a bunch of simple household items and talk about why the Mentos causes this reaction when placed in diet coke.

Equipment and Ingredients:
1 x 2 L Bottle of Diet Coke
1 Package of Mentos Per Bottle of Diet Coke
Soil
Planter
Optionally a Toy Nozzle
Goggles
Gloves
Lab Coat or Apron
