"ordained that we *should* walk in them", not "ordained that we *will* walk in them"
It's a command that we should do it. Not that we will do it

Now I get it!!! You are ex-Calvinist…. Well thank you for this video and the other you sent me.
I still believe that just speaking the truth is powerful enough. I must say this one is more respectful and gets your point across, clearly. Keep doing God’s will. Agape!

Great stream! "They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind. Jeremiah 19:4-5

The single question for humans in reading the entire bible should be, "What does God demand of me?"
The Bible is filled with human behavior, good and evil.
The way humans are created is that we think ( believe) then we feel ( emotion), then we act ( behave). The order is think, feel and behave.
Behavior is the result of thoughts (beliefs).
So I read the Bible to learn what God expects of me. I form my thoughts/ beliefs around what God tells me.
There should be a simple, straightforward way ( like a 10-20 point, powerpoint) that we can all understand on what God commands of us.
GOD: Humans, you are to do XYZ.
But can humans even agree on the basic commands of God? Apparently not.
And Calvinists seem to be the most confused humans.

What is interesting is Augustine was initially interested in answering the cause or source of evil, not moral evil but evil as natural calamities....storms, earthquakes, famine etc.
Unfortunately these events should never have been labeled, " evil."

Just starting video. Can you comment on proverbs 16:4 re: making of wicked men? I’m currently at minute 23 when talking about God creating vs not creating certain things. Thanks brothers. Have enjoyed your previous videos together.

Great, great episode. Jacob Prasch has a sermon/teaching, I believe it was titled "They are Willfully blind". Kind of explains how you can "show" a 3 month growth of an ovarian-cyst (fibrous tissue) & a 3 month fetus with limbs, fingers, toes, eyes, nostrils, mouth & a pro-abortionist can't or won't distinguish the two.

Wicked are divided. When you see Israel’s mother’s children being torn out and bashed against a wall. You have to remember these people were the ones putting their children on the burning alter. They was doing and receiving what wicked do.
Job 34:10  Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
Job 34:11  For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

This was very good Kevin thanks for taking the time to do it. That you use your intellect, training, gifts, time to go so deep into this perversion called calvinism. To me being totally different than my brother Kevin, am amazed at his patience.
I look at digging into calvinism with the same alacrity I would in digging up a septic tank to work on it. But at least you can fix the tank. You cannot fix the lie of calvinism.

YouTube is showing "0 Comments" but I can clearly see 7 comments made hours before this one. YouTube seems to be using Calvinist "logic"...

Note:
This verse is about nations, not Jacob or Esau. Besides Paul was talking about the redemption being brought about through history.

Rom 9:13  As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

Mal 1:2  “I have loved you, ” says the LORD. But you say, “How have you loved us?” “Is not Esau Jacob's brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet I have loved Jacob
Mal 1:3  but Esau I have hated. I have laid waste his hill country and left his heritage to jackals of the desert.”

The answer to, Does God create moral evil, has an easy and observable answer: No.
So where does moral evil come from? Human desire.
God created human desire in human beings, like the desire to procreate. But God does not restrict desires for obedience or disobedience. Humans can desire sex, and fulful this desire in marital sex or adultry.
Human free will, also created by God, determines WHICH desires we pursue.
Adam and Eve desired to obey, up until the moment Adam and Eve desired to disobey.

I have Calvinists in our church too. Do you let them teach or preach?

Classic straw man argument here- God did not CREATE evil, but he does ALLOW it, which you must also agree with. Could not God, at any moment, strike down the wicked to keep them from committing their evil acts, much like he did to Herod as it's recorded in Acts 12 when he failed to give glory to God and God struck him down and he was eaten by worms? Similarly, God struck down Ananias and Sapphira on the spot for their sin. God has the power to strike down any man at any time and in any way he chooses. He allows certain things to happen which are part of the "secret things" that Deuteronomy 29:29 speaks of. We need to keep our noses out of the secret things of God and focus on what is revealed. God's ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts.
