Don‘t know how to feel about this… On one hand a faithful adaption of the books is something we‘ve probably all wanted, on the other hand Emma, Dan and Rupert have become so engrained in my mind as Hermione, Harry and Ron. Excited for it nonetheless!

As long as Voldemort has red glowing eyes, Harry has green eyes and "Dumbledore asks CALMLY: Did you put your name into the goblet of fire, Harry? ", I'm in :D

Things we want to see:
- More accurate character appearances (Harry had GREEN eyes and Voldemort had RED eyes in the books).
- A better, more subtly intimidating Voldemort with a high-pitched, scary voice and a more softly menacing demeanor (he FEELS threatening without having to say a word or scream all the time like in the films) faithful to the books.
- Fleshing out the subplots and backstories more (e.g. Barty Crouch Jr's backstory and escape from Azkaban).

Ron who's actually smart and great friend.
Hermione with all her wonderful flaws.
Ginny so bright and powerful.
And the friendship of Ron and Harry like two peas in the pod.

I'm giving this a shot! As someone who LOVES the books dearly, I want to see the things they left out from the movies come to life! Of course the movies are ICONIC but c'mon, give this one a chance!

As long as they dont get woke content and dont get David Yates in It Im okay with that. I Hope that will be as much as faithfull to the books. I wanna see Voldemort's past and flashbacks and Dumbledore's funeral and the life and Secrets of Dumbledore. Oh, and a Dumbledore calm and wise as Richard Harris' like the one from the books.

I’ve wanted a long form TV storytelling adaptation of the book series for years. Thank you! Show it the love & respect you did with the movies and it’ll be a massive hit. Please give each season the number of episodes appropriate to tell each book’s story…those later books may need to be more than one season and I’m totally game!

Please be animated! Please! If this reboot is a photo realistic ANIMATED show (I don't want a bad live action cast), the characters can actually LOOK AND ACT like the characters from the books. This can open so many normies' eyes who only have watched the movies and don't know any better about the wholesome events and character arcs that were butchered in the films.

Curse! I wanted a series on the Marauders, the founders of Hogwarts, the beginnings of who you know... A SERIES OF MINI CHAPTERS WITH FRED AND GEORGE BEFORE AND DURING THEIR TIME IN HOGWARTS! I DID NOT WANT A REBOOT, WE DID NOT WANT A REBOOT!

Even so, I will see it and I know that I will be happy.

I'll definitely going to give this a chance. We'll always have the original movies to watch and remember but we've never had a adaptation that stays faithful to the books so this is their chance to give us fans the authentic adaptation that we want and deserve.

When I first heard about this, I was ecstatic. There are so many things from the books that were either left out or changed for the big screen, and a faithful adaptation of them had always been a fantasy of mine. However, in hindsight, I can't help but think about all the things we won't be getting: a cinematic release, Daniel, Rupert and Emma, John Williams' iconic score, etc. I really, really, really want this to be a great show, and it certainly has the potential to be great, but I'm remaining cautiously optimistic for now.
