The way I conquered those fears was by just playing and playing and getting into those situations. Now when I am in those situations I simply say fuck it, and then I die.

Reminds me of the feeling of being in clutches, with your hands shaking and your heart racing. Thanks for the info!

I conquered my fear and mini panic attacks with confidence in my ability and skills. I go into every fight expecting to win it and most of the time I do. I realized that panicking and over reacting made me lose too many fights and as I got better so did my performance anxiety. It all comes with practice and time.

For me, conquering fear means repeating a scenario so many times my brain doesn't recognize the thing or situation i fear as something unknown, so i just roll with the situation rather than getting nervous

I get really bad performance anxiety when playing video games, to the point my body starts shaking, this causes me to miss shots or just lose control of the direction I'm moving in a game. When this happens it's like a fight for control over my own body. My body is shaking by itself and while it is I'm trying to consciously steady my body; unfortunately this doesn't have a great chance of success most the time.

I believe my confidence plays a big part. I have nearly zero confidence in my skills. I'm currently 19 and since I was 12 I've constantly been called shit at games by my friends; I do hear a compliment every now and then, but it's only because they're so amazed I did something good for once.

This man is using gaming as a medium to teach us life lessons, smart way of getting the message out in a relatable way, this and most of what u talk about applies to almost any challenge one might face

I see a few people mentioning just to keep playing till you get used it and they’re right. You have to put yourself in those situations and don’t expect to win, you will only make it worse and your mind will start racing on what’s the best decision and that’s where indecisiveness comes in and all hell breaks loose. Stick with one plan and one plan only keep dying or whatever and trust me over time it will get better. I suffer from traumatic anxiety and separation anxiety since I was a kid. It’s gotten worse over the years but I’ve managed to cope with it. Playing games was always fun for me until the past couple of years. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve bought and haven’t even played them bc of my anxiety, strange I know but that’s how insane anxiety can be. I’ve played most of them now as I trained myself just to through with like it’s a job or something, I put it in my head that it’s something I must do and must conquer and once I did I felt 100 percent better about myself and stress free.

My new fear in gaming is controller players in COD. Their automatic aim assist, zero recoil and bullet magnetism are creeping me out.

Just allow yourself you fail. Fear leaves your mind instantly. Learn to accept failure as the part of learning process and take lessons from failures.

this guy focuses on the players performance instead of good sensitivity tactics and everything this is amazing

I wish i discovered this video earlier. My health deteriorated because of my anxiety.I started suffering from juvenile hypertension.I had to quit all my comp games for my health.i just cant think right.Heart rate starts soaring, breathing intensifies, eyes start watering.I have not been able to control it at all.Even if i get into an engagement in deathmatch and an enemy appears suddenly, i start panicking. If i watch a valorant vod review and imagine myself in the place of the pro, i start getting scared.I guess im a lost cause but thanks for the advice!👍
