Pecan Cobbler

6 tablespoons of butter
2 cups pecans
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoons of salt
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup boiling water

Melt butter in a baking dish and stir in pecans. Mix flour, salt and baking soda, then stir in milk. Add cinnamon and vanilla if desired. Drop dough over buttered pecans, do not stir. Sprinkle brown sugar over the entire baking dish, and then pour one cup boiling water over the top. Bake at 350 for 20–25 minutes. Great served warm with ice cream.

I think I’ll much prefer this to the cobblers that use cake mixes. I don’t like the overly sweetness that cake mixes have. Thank you for sharing this.

in your ingredient list you say baking powder-but ion the instruction you say baking soda??

Lots of inconsistencies in your video vs the recipe listed. Recipe says 1 1/2 c. flour and in the video you say 1 3/4. Recipe says 1/3 c.sugar and video says 1/4. You say 3/4 c milk and recipe says 1c. I guess this is just all approximates.
