6 tbsp butter
1 c pecans, chopped
1 c self-rising flour
1 1/2 c sugar
2/3 c whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 c hot water

Butter should be poured into the baking pan's bottom. Butter with pecans on top. Combine the flour, sugar, milk, and vanilla essence in a bowl. batter over the mixture of butter and pecans. Brown sugar should be uniformly distributed over the batter; do not mix. Do not stir as you carefully pour the water over the mixture. On a 9x13-inch baking sheet, bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden, at 350°F. Shaking the cobbler will cause a tiny bounce. Like with a pecan pie, let it cool completely.
