Pecan pie is definitely a southern dessert. Pecan Cobbler takes the yumminess to an even higher level. The cobbler and sauce are created in one pan. Many people question pouring the hot water over the top but after eating the warm cobbler find that the texture is perfect. If you are a pecan pie fan you must try this.

Thanks for following! And remember to be salt and light! - Sue

Interesting simple recipe, surprised no corn syrup included in the ingredients but it looks delicious,
I’m considering various recipe for a pecan cobbler for thanksgiving, had one at restaurant a few weeks ago, which was basically an upside down pecan pie with pie crust in middle & on top, with ice cream on top, it was delicious.

Another recipe I watched used evaporated milk instead of whole milk. What do you think is better?

You call it pecan PIE cobbler, but there are recipes out there that just say pecan cobbler. Are they the same?
