I had to do a lot of monotasking - usually crafts - to wind myself down. I heard a therapist comment that for highly sensitive people, one usually has to confront all the "noise" from being overstimulated (unhelpful thought habits from trauma and stress for example) before meditation is effective. This channel has helped a lot! I'm starting to meditate regularly now, and getting better at being able to sit still. It's super super rewarding. My dreams and waking thoughts so much clearer and informative instead of reactive. :)

I have a request thais, I struggle with confrontation and communicating, could you do a video on dealing with the distress of approaching these things? Like how do you deal with the distress enough to confront healthily or bring up something communication wise. I often feel distressed and end up avoid being in situations where confrontation is necessary.

I think the reason why a lot of people get a burnout is guilt... Feeling like you don't deserve to even exist unless you work for it, suffer for it, achieve, contribute, influence, have an impact, help save the world etc... At least that's what it was for me.. Feeling like just another parasite on this overpopulated earth, consuming and taking up space and resources... I think so many people have a subconscious guilt complex, especially women tbh
