Thank you so much for these instructions, Aram K! Now my two different monitors look the same after calibration!

I should have know Aram would have the best video on the internet about calibrating your monitor! Seriously THANK YOU for all you do. I've learned so much from you over the years.

Should I keep checked "use mac display color profiles in viewers" option after calibrating? In davinci settings.

you mentioned uploading the out straight to the monitor instead of through resolve, how does one do this? I have a BENQ PD2700U

Can the Calibrite Color Checker Display Pro work just as well as the Display Plus for these DisplayCAL settings? My monitor is less than 1, 000 nits. Please, someone, let me know. Thank you.

great video. But I'm still trying to understand, when working in Davinci Resolve, isn't it enough to calibrate the monitor itself? Why do we need to calibrate the monitor, and also on top of that create an additional LUT for Resolve?

Isn't it possible to calibrate my monitor using the second option you mentioned without having a LUTbox/Decklink/Ultrastudio?

Great stuff as always. I was wondering if you could post a video on grading strategies for night shots or shots that have low dynamic range. Thank you!

Hi Aram K, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question, I calibrated my monitor with displaycal applying an ICC profile to the system (as shown on the first part of the tutorial) and then calibrated my monitor again but this time through resolve (as shown on the second part of the tutorial) but the thing is i fear that the ICC profile is going to be applied over the 3D LUT that davinci will be using? does it makes sense?

We have the same monitor! How did you obtain the ASUS PB278 "Display" dropdown in display and instrument. I have been trying to figure this out for some time now.

hmmm so that should work even on an Ursa or RED camera monitor... I like it! Thank. you!

Displaycal is no longer functioning properly.. It bugs & shuts down. Any other free ways to calibrate davinci resolve?

Hey! I have asus pa329q it supports kinda rec2020 wcg, but windows don't recognize it as wcg monitor etc, even if I set 10 bit color in nvidia control panel. Is this is because I calibrate it internally to rec709 and if I do change profile to rec2020 and recalibrate it internally to that will make windows 10 see it as WCG monitor?
