I’ve debated on getting my husband fake ones because he loses them all of the time! The only reason why I haven’t yet is he’s quick to go buy replacements from Target so he’s not without; then I usually find the lost ones within a week. Unless they’re mine, he lost not one but TWO of mine. 🤦‍♀️ The first pair I had and then the replacement of those after I told him he’s not allowed to use mine. He’s been through a lot but not due to quality lol.

For the fake AirPods they almost always have a button on the back of it, it’s very easy to notice.

I have a fake one, but tbh it’s not that bad. It has the pop up indicator on the iPhone that it detects as AirPods. Sound quality is decent. The only downside is that only the left side works properly, while the right is so quiet. So if I wanna use both left and right, I gotta change the L/R balance from the middle to 0.65. Otherwise I just use the left one
