Also check for physical differences, even small ones, in particular on the earbuds themselves. I'm almost completely sure the last pair I got are fake but all the software stuff and even sound quality seemed fine at first. Weight and fine print on the packaging also looked and felt a bit off but the small black grille that's on the back of the buds (they're pros) felt a lot grippier and less flush than a pair of almost surely real ones I compared them to. I guess trying to perform a firmware update is also a way.

The new Airoha chipset is able to replicate the original, the only give away is you can't move seamlessly between your apple devices. And the weight gives it away however you will need a precise weighing scale for that. But for less than 1/10 of the price, it is actually quite worth it. The base is actually stronger than the original.

Hi, I recently purchased an airpods pro online, had connectivity and mic issues. Went to the apple store to check, turns out it was a counterfeit as the staff verified it for me. The thing is, all the features that you mentioned in this videos do exist on contrary for this counterfeit airpods pro set. Like the column in settings when it was connected, also the spatial/transparency mode on the volume control center. Can't really trust anything nowadays
