I had to change the light bulb in my Scan Globe (the same one as shown here), but I did not have a clue as to how to remove the globe. It did not dawn on me that the clicking mechanism on top of the globe allows one to simply pull the plug out after which changing the bulb is easy. I googled and found this YouTube film. Thanks very much for uploading this simple, but very practical advice!!

Excellent! Last time I changed this it was for my toddler kids. Now it's for my toddler grandkids and in between I forgot how to do it. So many thanks. Only point I'd make is that mine was encrusted with 30 years grime so the plastic plug needed a penknife under it to gently prise it up. After a good clean it now works just as in the video
