How to replace mini halogen light bulb

This video shows how to access a light bulb in recessed lighting with a gimbal or directional light feature. There are brackets holding the unit in the ceiling rather than springs. Sometimes the paint will make it stick.

It's almost comical how ridiculously difficult various manufacturers have made the simple changing of a small bulb. I have watched a lot of these videos, and none of them have helped yet.

Great video, although be warned some of these have clips and are very painful if they catch your finger. I learned the hard way after the landlord told us to replace them ourselves the next job is draining the washing machine, will be sure to take the light bulbs with me when leaving . 😂

I wanted a demo. I know how to get the light down, I just wanted to see how to undo the bulb from the spring clip and how to unplug it. I tried turning and pulling but don’t want to break it.

I have these lights. Currently fighting with the ones in my bathroom. Converting them to LED so hopefully I wont have to deal with them for 10 years +. I have these in my kitchen and other bath and was able to pop them loose, but not the master bath...yet.
