This is the conclusion that I've come to in my life recently. I was raised in a "Christian" home where everything I did wrong, or thought about doing wrong would end with me burning in hell for all eternity. This even went on far into my adulthood. My narcissistic father passed away 10 years ago, and I relaxed a little bit. My narcissistic mother passed away 2 months ago, and I came to so much peace that my narcissistic wife has taken notice and straightened out a great bit. Yep, I've been fuct in the head from the start. Now I'm learning about trauma bonding, avoidant personalities, cptsd, gaslighting, and a bunch of other stuff that I can relate to.
