I almost had this procedure done to me (or something similar), but I’m very young, and my mother didn’t want to risk me becoming paraplegic. I had 2 herniated discs in my back, I was in severe pain for months. Then my dad found out about inversion tables, and boy, was that a life saver. Of course it didn’t solve my problem immediately, but after using it over the course of a month I was able to actually sit down without any pain (I usually had to lay down to minimize the pain), but yeah, still amazing how far medical technology has come.

I wish this was an option when I needed help. I have had three spine surgeries. Chronic pain syndrome has ruined my life. I just stopped all the pills. Now, I am on a pain patch. I need a posterior fusion, but I refused. Trying to be positive is turning into an impossibility. 😢😢❤❤
