I'm a Hv H fellow of long ago. Of late, AvH focus and emphasis has shifted from being purely scientific and investigative to political and social. I'm confused. Political and social justice are important but can't replace the the dear intent of the scientist Humboldt. The current trend of AvH is dangerous and it looks to me there is an attempt by lawyers community to get involved in diverting the focus of the original intent of the foundation. If lawyers are involved, there is no truth to anything!

All of the economic diversions tend to downplay the importance of Afghanistan!
