One of the things I love about following your journey is that your very open and honest at portraying the good the bad and the ugly. thanks, and I'm currently watching the typhoon pass you by.

“Every scratch in the paint work is worthwhile…” That’s a Dad who get’s what is important. Good on you Riley.

lenny and darwin both saying “no” has me in tears for some reason, they’re growing so much!!!

Great episode! My favorite part is watching you let your son unscrew the panel screws without worrying about the scratches. We need to encourage our kids to explore working with their hands without the fear of failing. The world needs more highly skilled workers and tradespeople. Some excellent parenting there.

I can’t believe I’ve been watching you guys for 8 years. I don’t even sail 🤷‍♂️.

Elayna it's great to see how positive you are and how far you have come in developing your resilience, optimism & health over the years especially since the emotional and mental downs you have experienced a while back, love the show, love the good vibes you all bring, Riley doesn't complain too much, hope he's feeling better soon. Hope the journey to Japan is smooth sailing for you all.

Carine's smiles at 37:00. Some of the most serene, content, relaxed and authentic I've ever seen. Joy.

Never underestimate the power of a stroll in the rain. Nothing like it to ground you and forget about what's stressing you. I'm 68 and still enjoy it while my husband thinks I'm a little bit crazy.

"Don't touch the hammer. Why? Because I said so." Those simple words every kid thinks they'll never say to their kids until they become a Dad. Love your channel. I've only sailed a Sunfish some 50+ years ago when I lived on a lake with my parents, but absolutely love watching your adventures.

Riley, about the thyroid issues. There is Ashwagandha in that AG1 supplement you guys are on, right? It is known to affect thyroid function (among other things), and for some people it is very detrimental to supplement. Do a search on it.

Riley, you are an amazing Dad! Allowing Lenny to help out with tools while he scratches up the paint is awesome! My kids are grown now but I never discouraged them from trying to help. And I have to say I’ve got two amazing kids now. You’re raising two awesome little men.

Your honesty in your videos is what makes them real and why we love watching your adventures. Being small time sailors ourselves we know it’s not always smooth sailing. Riley, hope you’re feeling better soon. Good luck with your Japan trip and enjoy. Thank you.
