There is such a thing as "overseasoned" . I have tried DHC on 3 occasions and each time i just dont enjoy the flavor of their seasoning when compared to other chicken sandwiches. Its not that its too spicy (i love spicy food), its moreso that their combination of dry rub has too much paprika and too little salt to balance it out so it feels like i'm biting a full bite of paprika which isnt very enticing. I would take the popeye's over DHC IMO

Popeyes was always my go to fast food chicken sandwich, but recently tried Dave's Extra Hot and it changed my life, literally. Popeyes is still great and what started this whole chicken sandwich trend, but it just can't compete anymore. Other places are doing it better.

I like Popeye's more in terms of taste. The chicken is more juicy the pickle is crisp and the spicy mayo is better.
