Hey Lisa! If you're looking for places to try in California, if your ever in Orange County I suggest going to The White House! It's an excellent Italian restaurant. The owner holds a food drive every year and gives the rest of the food he has to people in need so nothing goes to waste :)

Delicious! Their spicy one is amazing! The tangy sauce and the pickles help the salt. Very salty if you get a very big one.

As a Los Angeleno, I feel Dave's is overrated - but the food is pretty. Howlin Ray's is supposed to be the jam, though. I've only had Dave's and another restaurant in Nashville's Hot Chicken though.

I have been there!! The food is absolutely delicious, I highly recommend going. I used to live in LA and we would go like every 2 weeks also, they have great fried pickles too!!

Lol actually a place I used to get food from with my boyfriend all the time! We'd also visit Blazin Hot Chicken too since it was the same restaurant menu wise essentially but a bit less salty and they had a really good grilled cheese option with a cut up tender mixed in with their sauce 😋
