I was raised KFC in a KFC family, however... in recent years I've betrayed my heritage and become a Popeye's fan all the way! My family for the most part no longer speaks to me, but it's only been about 4 years, so in time I'm hopeful they will accept me for who I am.

as a former cook for KFC and Popeyes, I gotta be on team Popeyes for this one. Spicy chicken is the goat for me. If KFC didn't get rid of their Kentucky fried wings and their potato wedges, I'd be on team KFC.

Definitely team Popeye’s...that Cajun blend just hits different. I also LOVE their biscuits, while KFC’s biscuits are just meh.

I've probably said this before but it's hard to say. I grew up eating KFC. Popeyes chicken sandwiches are god tier though. Also their sides are good too. I do miss Popeye's Jambalaya, I'm sure it was the least popular item before red beans and rice took it's place. As always I've eaten everything in this food challenge at some point. Wonder is Erik has ever tried Church's Chicken.

I like to order the extra crispy and spicy fried chicken at Popeye's. I pick off a lot of the extra crispy bits and put them into the red beans & rice with a lot of Tabasco or Krystal hot sauce. It's absolute 🔥 🔥 🔥 !!!
