Man! When the first Dave's Hot Chicken opened in my neighborhood, there was a line down the street. Every time I drove by for 2 years there was a line. I had been waiting for the hype to go away. Finally the pandemic killed their line. I tried it. It's THE BOMB. But if you ever come to Cali, check out this brother's fried chicken joint in Culver City. Its called Honey's Kettle. That's the best fried chicken I have had. The whole menu is bangin.

What i like about the Dave's I've gone to is the consistency. I was obsessed with this place for a whole year and i only had one instance where i wasnt blown away but they are almost always crispy, tender and perfectly seasoned.
