As a participant in these videos and playing with Controlled Pairs pretty frequently, the reason for using the light so much was because when these were filmed (December 21 and March 22), night vision in Ready or Not was ass. You saw that clip with the green phos, and it looks like dogshit lol. So we defaulted to using white light primarily. After the most recent update, NVG's are much more usable.

You gotta get this guy to watch “Door Kickers 2”, it’s a lot easier to understand and analyze. Like he said, “a thinking man’s game”

This guy is tactically uncompromising and I love it

You know it's getting serious if former Navy Seal starts talking about his real experience in making point about the tactics shown in the gameplay. It's great to hear input from people like this for all those tactical geeks and nerds who play tactical games like Ready or Not more seriously. People always laugh at us for being way too serious but after joining military I realized how the tactical "dry drilling" in these games made me more efficient and quicker in learning these skills IRL.

It's always a pleasure to see such a well coordinated team, especially since even such a discerning critique had no end of praise for them!

Oddly enough, this was what Rainbow Six: Siege was supposed to be at the beginning... or at least most of the Rainbow Six series of games. Sadly, the roots of that franchise is lost. This game looks pretty good, though.

I feel like a broken record saying this bur it's true every time. You lot have the best experts on this channel. Everyone is treat to watch without fail, doesn't even matter what they're talking about- Hunting, Martial Arts, History, Theology, and especially special ops folks

I think the highest praise this game can get is that the operator has 0 comments on gameplay mechanics and 100% of his comments/critique on close quarter combat ‘gameplay’ technique. Bravo all around

I like the way he explains how to use flashlights, explosions and night vision devices, have weapons discipline and fight close quarter combat.
He's graphically done what he's recting to. Truly an expert reaction.

"Is that a choking sound? a guy dying on his own blood, that's awesome!" Brilliant quote

Ex German Navy Boarding Solider here. I can only say good things about this game. Obviously it comes down to your team mates, but this is about as realistic as it gets at the moment for CQC.

Edit:
Worked with many SOF's sadly never with any SEALs he seems like such a mate. Espeically tell people when they did something good is very rare in the business.

I'd love to see him with Israel, Cam, and Chris the Cop react to Doorkickers 2 or another milsim run of Ready or Not. Maybe show 3 different scenarios being done and they dissect/discuss the differences between not only law enforcement and military, but even between the different military force doctrine.

Some of the actual former Military gamers who play these "realistic sims" are pretty fun to watch. Especially the "no-comm's" videos where they use nothing but in game hand gestures and flashing a laser at a doorway they want to breach and such. Idk how realistic it all is, but it shows what a team who trains together can do in game, and Im sure that's only a touch of what a trained team can do IRL. Cool video. I personally love Justinred87, Karmakut, and Controlled Pairs for their tactical milsim stuff.
Some things are unfortunately limited to the reality of gameplay. Like shining lights under a door to check for booby traps and such. As well as fluid movement in a stack through a doorway. Upon further review, this sounds like at least some parts of this were taken from Controlled Pairs. Which is amazing.
Sorry for making this such a long comment, but this game does actually have a feature where if the enemy see your lights flooding under doorways or through gaps, they will start shooting you sometimes. They can also spot you through gaps in wooden fencing or placers where there are cracks/holes in the wall and start unloading and killing you through the walls.

Reeves: Good use of tactics

Surprised that there's still no react contents including: Sniper, Spec Ops, Police Officer, and Navy Seal. Yes expert plays maybe cure that curiosity a little, but that collab would be a banger.

"That's all you have to do in the real world". "Apologize like that, your good". I literally LoL'd.

He'd be so happy to learn that flashlights now give you away, and I've had way too many wipes on Voll and Crack because someone was shining a flashlight in the front window/outside and someone in the hill house got us.

His comments and insight help me play the game that much better. Even in my COD days, checking corners is so important. Dont play it anymore but helped in multiplayer so much. Love seeing pros review gamers. Its alot of fun!

6:47 I assume Controlled Pairs was testing it out, as he's had real world experience being a vet.
