Raster Analytics

Brief demo by Esri Imagery Analytics and AI product manager Vinay Viswambharan of raster analytics of multidimensional image cubes with use cases focused on time-enabled predictive analysis to understand the effects of sea surface temperature changes on marine life, and coral reef bleaching. The demo reprises the initial workflow shown but using a Python notebooks which can employ the Python, ArcPy, or the REST APIs. Also included are dashboards, raster function chains (customized image processing algorithms chained together), and the improved speed of a distributed raster analytics (image server) cluster within the ArcGIS platform. Originally recorded as part of a 2020 meeting with the National Geographic’s Pristine Seas program.
