Paul, as someone once said we seldom need teaching but we frequently need reminding! Another good option to set on D3xxx and D5xxx (can't speak for others) is "Slot empty release lock" in the Setup menu. When set to "Lock" you can't fire the shutter unless a memory card is inserted.

Another great video. As usual no remarks on the clarity or style of the video, yet lately some videos really give me this déjà vu feeling. I'm a great fan of the channel and therefore have watched many of your older videos. As a result, these last videos cover many tips that were already mentioned in an earlier video. Would love to see some really new content on subjects that have not yet been covered. For example: how to use the different light meter settings (matrix, centre, spot) and how to apply them in different scenarios.
Keep up the good work! You're a great teacher and your work is inspiring!

Thanks Paul. I find your tips really useful and a good reminder of some of the things I forget like turning off VR when using a tripod. Nice that you don't concentrate on mirrorless, and your tips work for my D5300 .
