The Supreme Court has recently ruled that the selection process adopted by the Kerala High Court for recruitment of District Judges in the year 2017 suffered from several infirmities and was in violation of the Kerala High Judicial Services Rules of 1961.

The decision of the Supreme Court is very much disappointing. Granting no relief to the petitioners is an injustice. It is encouragement to those who are corrupt.

By that argument, why is there action against others that are not from the legal fraternity for wrongdoing? Ending the wrongful extension of Director of the ED, the Hon.Court asked? Is there no other capable candidate for the job? Humbly, my lord, are there no capable judges that can be appointed in the place of the judges whose appointment the Hon. Court has deemed wrongful? There cannot, and there should not be two yardsticks, Ceasars wife must be above suspicion.

Seeing injustice and not scting on it is a humanitarian Crime. So definitely that was wrong and the guilty must be punished. Silently observing a crime is an additional Heinous Crime.

Wrong and injustice must be sanctioned to protect values. If such sanction brings wrong consequences then do it in a way that reduce such wrong consequences.

But no sanction to wrong and injustice will bring even worse consequences: thry destroy values.

Now make a wise choice between value of society and administrative nuances.

I hope CJI had made a good choice.

There should be a common entrance exam for the post of the Judges of high court and it has to be based on pure eligibility and no reservations on based on CAST, RELIGION.

A judgment of this kind by CJI is very disappointing. The Supreme Court itself is promoting arbitrariness by passing these kind of judgements. The Supreme Court did not hear arguments for 6 years and ultimately it also became the fault of petitioners. This judgment should be condemned by media at national level.
