Softball and baseball are both hard. We should not argue which is the hardest, because we both play a sport that a lot of people in this world can’t play.

Once you time it after a few pitches it’s like batting practice with a giant yellow ball lmao. Our high school wouldn’t allow the baseball vs softball games anymore cause of the home run derby that followed after the 1st inning.

I feel like people should just expect that baseball and softball are different sports. And comparing the two is unreasonable because it’s always going to be harder for the person who doesn’t play. It’s almost like comparing table tennis and actual tennis both super similar yet totally different.

I'm from the Philippines, and Softball is the only way we can play Baseball because the spaces here are limited so we don't see it as something girly but rather a legit sport for all genders

I get that people arguing which sport is harder is annoying, but it is actually proven that softball is harder. Though I have to say, I love both sports and find them both easy. The only thing I find hard is softball pitching. (since i'm learning it for the past 2 years and the baseball pitch took me less than a day to learn.) But both softball and baseball people play a sport that a lot of others cannot play, so we shouldn't fight which one is harder since there is challenges for everyone. I'm not even SUPPOSED to be playing since i'm blind in one eye. (completely. no blur at all.) But did me and my family listen? Nah. If we did listen, I wouldn't be playing a sport since I find nothing else entertaining. I wear protection though.

It really depends what you play, baseball players have alot faster pitches, but also have faster swing speed and speed, but softball players pitches rise. Ive tried both and i stayed in baseball because its so much harder for me.

The reason both can’t hit off of either is different, I’m not trying to back any sport but baseball the ball falls as the pitcher throws above hand which means your bat motion must go straight through the zone now in softball the ball rises so you must chop at the ball so it goes straight and not up every time, now it’s not that much on a different swing but it’s just enough to throw people off that’s why you usually don’t see softball players hitting baseball and vise versa
