What Life Was Like In 1910s In NEW YORK

NYC before the Civil War would most likely look foreign to modern New Yorkers, but by the 1910s, the metropolis we know today was beginning to develop. The first buildings had risen, along with electric street lighting, vehicles, street cars, and the subway, which had just recently opened. There was the rush and bustle of people going about their business, strolling at the breakneck pace that New Yorkers are accustomed to. In other words, Gotham was beginning to resemble the contemporary metropolis that would soon become the world's center.

It was the same as England in 1910 in terms of the way women were treated and the fashion.

i pity this country if a draft is ever started again, people won't lift a finger to protect their own interest much less the interest of others.
