This is the third video in a new series of brief videos presenting arguments and questions to Trinitarians we believe contradict the Trinity, but which support our view of "one God, the Father," and the sons of God (including Jesus) as "gods." This "does not break Scripture," as taught by the Christ and by the earliest Christian Church. - John 10:33-36; 1 Corinthians 8:5-6.

Shamoun struggles really hard, and fails, to explain John 5:26 in a coherent way.

Good point. How can the Son be "given life" if he has always existed? Outstanding!!❤

A question. What did Jesus mean when he said that the gospel of the kingdom would be preached worldwide? Are Jehovah's Witnesses the ones who fulfill that prophecy or who are they?

If the Son was given life in himself, he did not already have it. Case closed.

What day is the Sabbath: Seventh day (Gen 2:1-3, Ex 20:8-11) or the first day of the week?

And the church are in christ in exactly the same way as the son is in God--thus all one in spirit, but seperate entities.

I really don't know why people have a problem with understanding this. People lack critical thinking skills and also comprehension skills.

If the father did not receive life from anybody and has life in itself and granted everlasting life to the son, how in the world can you conclude that jesus is God or that they are on the same level?

Isaiah 29:16
English Standard Version
16 You turn things upside down!
Shall the potter be regarded as the clay,
that the thing made should say of its maker,
“He did not make me”;
or the thing formed say of him who formed it,
“He has no understanding”?

Let them battle with the understanding of that scripture too.

Hey Greg. First of all - thanks for all your work and the great series on destroying the pagan belief of Trinitarianism. I've challenged a few evangelical and orthodox blend pagans on John 5:26 - and so far, a lot of waffling, but no real tangible answer. I can tell you that some have reacted crazy, which is what you'd expect.

Recently, one of them came with an interesting thought though. In order to let the discussions continue, I strive not to react to harshly on their pagan lies and empty pagan philosophy statements - I try to listen with empathy, and try to see things from their viewpoint (it renders me utterly confused at times, which is why I appreciate your truth bombs).

The interesting statement is this one (again stated by one who accepts the Trinity as truth and with it the dual nature nonsense): "Jesus was given 'life in himself' by the Father, only in the flesh - in his human nature. In his divine nature he obviously always had it. It was given by the Father as when Jesus was on earth he was in a subordinate state. According to Aquinas, almost the whole of John's gospel is about the Son of God in the flesh, including eating the flesh of Jesus that contains life (John 6:35)"

How can we counter such statement without having to go too far into debunking the dual-nature non-sense?
