The arm grab was because she almost fell off the chair. She was sitting on a bar stool chair. Look closely ❤

The quickness of a mother's reach to assure her child is safe will always surprise me ❤

My Autistic nephew was non verbal until he was almost 5. Then he had a full conversation with my sister. Explained he had been practicing in his room. 🤣🤣🤣! Children are amazing. Always surprises with these little miracles. 💕

My little brother is autistic. He's limited in his verbal speech. I cried the other day because he called me by name: clearly! He's 11 years old and I absolutely understand what this mom must've felt ☺️

Love this. No one truly knows this happiness unless you have a non verbal child. My son is finally speaking. ❤️

This is an excellent video and shows how you and your husband, through patience, the difficulty of teaching a nonverbal autistic child. I commend you in the way you show her how to relax and breathe. Outstanding mom and dad. By your love and hugs and kisses, you are raising a very blessed little girl. ❤

I worked as a camp counselor at an autistic summer camp for a couple of years in high school. There was one kid (around 11-12) who was nonverbal and kept him involved in games, but he loved swimming and the arts and crafts time. We had a daily walk and he generally didn't want to go on those so he would stay back at the cabin with the troop leaders. I had gone back inside to grab something, probably my phone, but when I did I asked myself where I had put it. While I was looking around I wasn't planning on getting a response, but the little “Huh... I don't know where you put it” threw me for a loop. I just turned to look at him and he was working away on his little wooden car kit we had that day. I just said, “Oh, okay. I found it!” and let me tell you, I almost cried. I just felt so happy that he felt safe and comfortable enough to say that one-liner. He never said anything else but it was a moment I’ll never forget.

I have friends with a non verbal autistic son and remember his mom bawling the first time she heard him speak. It was at school and his aid sent her video of him saying hello!!😂❤

❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 mine used to be nonverbal, but now he’s starting to answer our questions. Last night he snuck out to the backyard with a helium balloon to release it. I asked him where did the balloon go and he answered “sky” while pointing at the sky. It’s the little accomplishments that make me so proud of him. Good luck to you both!

My grandson is autistic. He was non verbal until 6. He is now 15 and graduated top of his class from 8th grade with a 4.0, the Presidential award, a science and mat award and now in a Charter school. He is absolutely amazing. He had tremendous support from his parents, social workers and everyone who has fallen in love with his kind heart.

I was told my son was non verbal when diagnosed. He's 17 now . He can't have a conversation with me but he asks and tells me things. One day at Walmart he goes, Mama you are soooo cute!!!😭💕 A lady heard him and smiled at me... It was so sweet!😍 I cherish those moments.
