Thanks mate just installed new ram. PC would not start, did a bios reset by removing the battery. Pc started up and could change the settings in bios, works like a charm. Thx

Every processor has its maximum theoretical memory bandwidth. For example yours has 50 GBit/s. Then if you have dual channel memory, let's calculate. 50/8=6.25GBytes/s. 6.25/2=3.125=3125 Mbytes/s. If your processors bandwith is 50, you can use 3125 memory in dual channel mode. Or 2100 memory in tripple channle mode. Everything depends on your processor. Dont initiate XMP in BIOS before calculating what I wrote above. Your system will not be stable otherwise.

Every time I try and do this my pc restarts then restarts again and reverts the changes I have a B550m pro 4 asrock mother board with 64 gigs of ram both are 3200 mhz and it just won't alow me to fix that

Mine had no profiles do i need to make one? My ram sticks are 8 x 2 8gb Corsair Vengeance Pro. It only allows me 2666mhz of ram speed i cant set it to 3200mhz even if my ram is 3200mhz please help.
