This is good stuff. I navigate the Gun/Knife shows here in the American country and you gotta look close. There are cast fake as can be stuff side by side with the real deal.

I don't want to be a dull. I am a collector and believe this type of investment cannot be sustainable. In about 15 years time all the babyboomers with large wallets will die out. New collectors will not have the opportunity to start buying material and getting in the hobby in the first place due to the high premiums. Who in 10 years will buy the SS officer sword from you (calculating inflation) for more than 35K Pounds. - nobody.

I really wouldn't start collecting this stuff because of investment reasons because the future of this hobby is very questionable... Collect for the fun and the history. Look at the market for ancinet artefacts... For example you can buy a lot of nice stuff (bronze axes, roman coins, fibulas... Etc.) for very cheap if you know where to Look for it and mostly a lot cheaper than militaria stuff. And this stuff is 2000 or more years old.
